yesterday was the BORINGEST day of my life. Imagine if you're in a house with no power at ALL, no air conditioning, and rotten food in the fridge. There was four of us sitting in my friends basement going INSANE, with empty heineken and corona bottles laying everywhere. So we grabbed random shit and banged on drums and made some really fucked up music. Like one person would start with a beat and then the next person in the circle had another one and so on. We did this literally for hours and hours. Then started cracking up laughing wishing we were all dead.

i took the final exam today for the hard teacher who isn't difficult but is hard.
i think i'm gonna get an A in his class.

i got an A in my other 2 classes, C++ and Sociology. for sociology, i got an A even though i never purchased the textbook. you know why? 'cause i'm damn smart.


now i can relax on my 3 week summer break
i'm gonna practice guitar all summer, as soon as i get it from Sam Ash after they set it up.
the body swap was going damn-ass good, i detached the tremolo, unscrewed the neck from the silver body, and desoldered the pickup wires, and did the reverse on my other guitar body (the brown one that i talked about before).
i had the guitar all assembled, all i had to do was set it up
Since the previous owner had put 10s on it, he screwed things up for me. Well i'm not sure if he actually did, but i'll still blame him anyway. I think he made the original springs loose or something, 'cause i couldn't get the tremolo angle to adjust right.
it was either way too high or way too low. i screwed in the claw screws as far i could.
then i started putting on more springs, and messing around with different spring configurations, but then i forgot to detune before i added another spring (it's hard if you're setting the tremolo angle for the first time, because the tremolo angle raises after you tune up your guitar); this sharpened the strings, and i broke the high E

i didn't have any more high Es at home, so i had to go to a music store. i thought, if i'm going to go a music store anyway, I might as well blow 40-50$ on a setup, and let them handle the problem (and fully optimize the guitar), before i break something else.
so i did that last sunday. i called Guitar Center and Sam Ash to see which setup of theirs is cheaper, so i went with Sam Ash because they're 10 dollars cheaper.
so i went there, and signed the papers and whatnot. What i didn't like was that i couldn't talk to the guitar tech face-to-face, and address my concerns and specifications to him. i had to have it written in the "details about problem" section in the "maintenance/repair" form. It's because they have an outside agency do the repairs for them or something. hope that does the trick, and i end up being satisfied.
because what if the faggot touching my baby right now, doesn't know jack about ibanez guitars or edge Tremolos. and what if he fucks shit up or makes the action too high, or makes fret buzz. i'd be pissed
another thing is, for some reason it takes em a week. and they said that they'll call me. but i'll call em tomorry anyway and see if they're done ahead of time or something.
