got a pic of it?
if there's place for a humbucker, you can easily fit an emg in, the wiring isn't difficult so you can do it yourself and save a whole bunch of cash, however, if there isn't place for a humbucker type pickup you'll have to modify the body, which sucks and takes some time or/either money.

Yeah, use the input jack and knobs that come with the EMG. I just took one out of my warlock and into my Strat.

ok, i got it in with no problems but, i do need a longer shaft output jack (i couldn't use the washers). and now i'm wondering how far from the strings should it be sitting? right now it's about 1 cm. away

press the strings down, as far as they'll reach, set your pickup height at about that height to prevent your strings from hitting the pickups, I guess about a centimeter would be allright.
you couldn't use the output jack that came with the set?
I had the same problem, I used the output jack that was in my guitar, if its and output jack with 3 poles, you can use it. It's the same jack connector but just a different type.
be sure to solder the wires the same way as the original emg output jack that came with the set, look into the jack connectors to see the routing inside the jack and solder them exactly the same way on your original output jack, it worked for me.

the output jack that came with it JUST fits. i couldn't put the washers or the locking thing on so it will probably keep coming loose.

you could glue them together, but I don't know, maybe you're better off using the old output jack?
