What about any books you can buy? Is there any good one's out there that are based on metal, death metal, black, ect? Because I am looking for one with a lot of differen't shit on like theory and how to get better at lead and shit. I have seen some on lead guitar and on how to improve your skills and a ton of crap but I don't know if it's good and if there are any good ones out there. Please let me know if you guy's know of any. Thanks.

You may think this is a silly idea but go down to your local library and see what teaching guitar books they have. Otherwise find those free teaching guitar sites and learn some scales. If you know ya scales you'll be better at playing the solo's etc, certainly writing ones yourself or working out others.

Another good way for guitarriffs, tabs ect. Try Guitar Pro 3 (or 4, latest version) you can easely get it on Kazaa with crack and then go to www.mysongbook.com, here you can download (FOR FREE) tabfiles wich you can use to learn how to play songs
I already use it for almost a year and it helped me a lot.
try it.
