Death metal guitar strings?
Whats the best strings to get for playing death metal? Also we play in A# tuning so is there any particular kind thats good for loose strings?

Damn, A#'s very deep, you'll need a very thick guage. Personaly, I use Blue Steel. They have a good deathmetal sound but I don't tune to A# though, so I don't know. My advice is get the THICKEST guage you can find.

or you could just get a 7 string and tune down from there that would solve your loose string problem

The Zakk Wylde strings r thick as fuck, but i doubt you can play your desired speed of death metal on them.

I have been using GHS Zakk Wydle Boomers. They work very well for dropped tunings. The 10-60 will suffice but they also make the 11-70. The latter didn't even go through my tuning keys and I have a deep six. Try them out they don't disappoint. They go for about $5-$6.

yeh the 70's r for when he tunes down, but the 60's will be fine

also on the zakk strings 10-70 he dosnt tune that guitar to Standard at ALL or you will really screw your neck up he just goes straight to F#<--from his tech
