Acoustic sounds of IE?
I like how Iced earth's clean guitars sound, anyone know what kind of effects they use? Its very low sustaine so it sounds more like a acoustic.

They probably us a real acoustic gutiar  And for life they probably have a small reverb with there pedals clean sound.

If you can listen to some of their acoustics in "Angels Holocaust", you can hear they usually put a clean guitar behind the acoustics, all of that adds more subconcious sound that you think you hear. Also they find a way to record their acoustics with lots of highs, it could be mic placement or anything so it always has that real light, crisp, twang sound.
Otherwise the delay you hear is definitely reverb

No, I've seen em live. Larry Tarnowski plays acoustic in Angels Holocaust and Jon straps on the electric for right after the acoustic part.

eh?? If Larry plays the acoustic, and Jon picks up an electric for the dist part, then the little solo before "he didn't think..." must be played by Jon, since he's the one of them who has an electric on... Seems strange that they would do it that way, since Larry is the one who's supposed to do the leads...
