Here is where I think the problem comes in. People post there works in the guitar forum, but then you start to get people posting there bands lame ass songs, but they do HAVE guitar in them. Plus, when people where posting their guitar works, there were so many threads like "Check this out!!!", and "New original song!!"

A solution may be to make an official guitar works thread. Also, if want us to critique your work so bad, does that mean you are gonna stay here for awhile. If you are a constant member here, other members will WANT to here about your band.

I have no problem with posting sample mp3's in Guitar Zone as long as the person posting them is looking for advice/criticism/suggestions and NOT just promoting his band.

Your not a regular here, your new. Most people come in, post something about thier band or just themselves and leave. This happens at least once a week. So now when new people come in and on thier first post, advertise something they make, it is automatically taken that your just going to leave without replying (aka: spam). Im leaving it open seeing that your not leaving and that people have replied.
