peavey amp
hey i was wondering, would a peavey renown 400 (210 watts) be enough to gig with? it's a fucking loud assed amp but i've not gigged with it.
for those that dont know, it's a 210 watt amp with 2 12 inch speakers nd it has a jack for cabinets ( something that most amps dont have) it has 2 channels and a foot switch.

are you being sarcastic or sumthin? of course it big enough to gig with! 210 is plenty for a small gig. and with bigger gigs, anyone guitarist will tell you youll end up feeding it through the PA sytem anyway. so if the drums are unmiced, that mutherfucker will be plently loud. ive played with the loudest hardest-hitting drummer there could be, and my 90 watt isnt quite enough. notice i said QUITE. in other words, 210 will be good for it. for sure. if u can jam with it, u can prolly gig with it.

okay...im alil confused. by rythm channel u mean clean channel? im guessing so(what else is there besides lead?). so, if the clean channel doesnt work, yet the lead does...do they have separate volume controls? and also, if u turn down all the EQs it makes it so quiet its like it doesnt make a sound even. there also may be a shortage, and for that, go to yur music dealer and have him to look at it. unless its some dumbass reason that has to do with yur EQ controls/volume level, then it must be internal. so yea, go to the dude ud go to to get shit worked on and have him to look at it.

i cant, i got it from ebay...
plus, i ran out of k-pins.. it's a great thing that kid down my street gives me free meds....
when i say two channels, i meant a lead where you can have distortion or not, and a normal channel. i want to use both channels at the same time but the normal channel is dead. like i have to turn it up all the way to even hear it just a bit... could it be that the pot needs cleaning?

Noone cares about how many drugs you say you take.
If its a tube amp, I'm guessing it needs re-tubing on that channel. If its solid state, it could be a number of things. Take it to a guitar repair place.
