question about a guitar i just got

has anyone heard of Dillian? i think thats wut its called. its gona be here in about 15 minutes. so when i get it ill post the for-sure name. but its a 7-string dillian(or sumthin). is it a peice of crap? it was marked 600$, but the store was goin out of buisness and had to get rid of it so i got it for 200$. anybody know bout the brand? i still have my fender telecaster, so whether i sell it, or this 7-string, i just wanted a few extra opinions to see which one i should keep(if not both). it doesnt have a tremolo locking system. thats the reason i got rid of my old 7-string. but i just wanted to know if you fellas had any words of advice on this. thanx.

Re: Feed back.

A good noise gate or standing further away from your amp will stop un wanted feedback.

Going by this reveiw, they make good guitars! There's a whole load of reveiws of that brand at harmony-central.com.

about the noise gate---i got that on my digitech and its on all the presets. but still, when turned up loud, my drummers crash cymbal makes my amp feedback bad(not warm, kurt cobain feedback, high-pitched screaming feedback). and im not even doing anything but muting the strings. im not even letting the strings be open(which i know causes gradual feedback). meshuggah say they dip their guitars in wax to prevent feedback---wat the hell?

Waxing your pickups could help....Or there are Pickups covers that make
your HB's look like EMG's but it dims the sound, a last resort to eliminate
feedback is by putting those covers. Or maybe you have your amp turned
in front of the drum set and maybe that is why its getting horrible feedback.

Those Dillions.. Looks like the one Les Paul -type o' guitar with a sharp-cut that Zakk Wylde was playing mostly during the "No more tours" -Ozzy tour, anyone else noticed this? (It must've been custom shop model by then)
