i dont listen to many bands except metal bands...the rest is just orchestras playing tchaikovsky and paganini etc

except classical and metal there's not much else except maybe a bit of jazz(no band in particular)

I like Nazareth, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Van Halen, Ted Nugent, ZZ Top, etc. stuff like that. The one thing that pisses me off about Kid Rock the most is in that one song when he goes "I like AC/DC and ZZ Top" that really pisses me off 'cause those bands are great. And there are also some styles of music that I can tolerate if someone puts it on but I wouldn't choose to listen to myself. We've had threads like this several times by the way.

I do.
That might change someday, but for now, the majority of what I listen to at work, at home, in the car is metal.
Doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the aforementioned non-metal bands that I listen to, though.
I'll always want to pop that stuff in from time to time.

The majority of what I listen to is metal, but it's not a conscious decision. I listen to what I listen to, I don't go out of my way to lock myself up in a genre and throw away the key.

Some of the nonmetal bands I like are the Beatles and Glassjaw.

i like a shitload of music. Metal is my favorite though. And hardcore is prolly second favorite. But i dig alot of classical, jazz, blues, rock (none of this new rock bullshit like train and counting crows and shit, fuck that) I dig SOME "nu metal" bands. I don't consider them nu metal, but other people have. screamo is cool sometimes. but i'll dig mostly everything besides some pop, most country, and 97% of punk.

for me metal is the culimnation of all that i litsen to, before i litsened to metal i litsened to all the major influences ranging from classical and folk to led zepplin, however the one thing that pisses everybody off is that i HATE the beetles because they are responsible for most of the crappy music out there today just as much as they are responsible for metal so i dont think that their bad music can hide behind the illusion of doing something great any longer
