Just wondering if any of you guys liked St. Anger , because i know most of you don't like anything by Metallica after Justice, which is understandable, but if you did like it could any of you post a tab for it.

It Sucked Ass, But For Some Reason It Sounded Like "Down" (One Of Phill's Side Projects).

I presonally dug it, as it's not old Metallica, but it sure as shit IS Metallica. It's no Master of Puppets, and it has but a few solos, but it's definetely worth the money. You can find alot of the tabs at mxtabs.net. James plays on a baritone guitar, so it won't sound exactly alike.

And anyways, the song has what.....3 riffs max? Played about 17 times each over a span of 5+ minutes.......figure it out yourself.....it sounds easier than a deftones song.

My tabed resource has always been correct do usually when im confused its my fault so any way in the beginning the part thats suppost to sound like the acustic part but not acustic (you know what i mean) after the 2nd, "{-2-2-2-------}". IT reads... uhh hold on..

or something like that. Ok thats supost to be the chords in " lets just say metal" that sound like acustic with the drum rolls and such. THen to finally get to the point the tab says 4x after that and after like the first time theres just bunch of chords and after that tab in my tab book its the main riff. So do you play the riff faster?

Just play Aminor, Cmajor, G, and Eminor the last part. Its the easiest way to remeber it. Just one more thing: GET YOUR FUCKING PICKING RIGHT.

the 4x means repeat the bar or riff or measure four times.

the riff in question (if i read what i read right) is when you throw on the distortion, not the clean part.

well any way like art of nothing said you just play the last part of the intro on distortion (metal of some sort i hope you have one) and then you play the next part hit by hit at the begining then blast threw it as fast as you can. I hope your new to guitar other than that your just stupid. SORRY!!
