Arpeggio help

Dunno if that's spelled right but I've been trying to learn them and I've been to like 5 instructional sites saying how you do them but I just don't get it lol I can't get it to sound like an arpeggio I was wondering fi anyone could like give me a few tips or something lol. Hopefully someone can help me lol.

yeah, the spelling is right.

i have no idea what you're doing, but one thing to look out for is that you're releasing each note after you play it, and before you play the next.

Arpeggios are chords played one note at a time, and muting every note once they're played so they don't ring out. They also tend to be pretty much over all 6 strings, as opposed to just the top 3.

You example looks more like just something from a scale.

Yeah that dosent look like a very good arpeggio run to practice with. Pick one out of the arpeggio thread and talk about them in thier.
