ESP(LTD) guitar question
are there any guitars like this that have 24 frets because ive been lookin for a good guitar with 24 frets to do that "One" solo and other difficult stuff. if you get a custom made usa ESP, you can have all the frets you want though.  |

there are a shitload of LTDs with 24 frets, but not many LTDs shaped like that with 24 frets. And yeah, 24 frets comes in handy alot, and makes it way easier, but just bend for now dude.

No i have just discovered that you can bend the 22 to 24 if you do it just right but 24 frets do come in handy alot. I think the fade to black ending solo hase a 24 that you cant bend. And plus ive seen many other songs that require the same.

i take it you haven't been playing very long, and haven't really grown alot of finger muscle, or else you'd easily be able to bend the 22 to get any 24 sound.

I've never heard an exact 24 sound so I can't even bend mine up to sound liek 24. But if Someone could record a 24 SOund for me. I'd be very grateful  .

Its a Kramer, and its the an exact copy of gibsons Explorer shape, since gibson owns Kramer now Kramer can copy alll the gibson shapes. But its not "Sharp" and u Know how hip that is now... so he probably wont like it.

what about them 80s explorer shaped guitars, called Destroyers?
those things were built for the shredders in that time, so im guessing they ought to have 24 frets. i believe Ibanez make em.

These guitars are great for the money, normally $240 but just went on sale for a crazy $149.99. Normally they have a few more colours however. I have a few Kramers and these new ones are the best deal anywhere. Plus, the pickups kick ass and they have 24 frets.

I got one of those kramer explorer bodies with the quad reail pikcups. And it ahs that route for the d-tuna, so i can use my recessed floyd with the d-tuna. And to top it all off i got a jackson neck on it I love the the pickups, go from single coil to full bass humbucker.

It has been a while since I was last here. I actually got scared that guys were going to slam someone for the "shape" of the guitar they were choosing and whether or not it was hip.  Ahhhh...it is so nice to see guys recommending guitars because they play well and not because of the brand name or shape. Whoever it was that posted that pic of the custom made Strat in the other thread (design your own axe)...thanks, I dont feel so fuckin old.
