Is it true that Fender Guitars took over Jackson Guitars? I think I heard it some where, but I cant remember where.

Yes, but it shouldnt affect the instruments much, they may get better quality parts.... and the price might increase or decrease but you probably wont see many chanegs in the playability of the guitars.

well, the warriors and flying V's prices have decreased by about 200$CA, not sure if its related to it but still

as long as fender doesn't interfear with the building process jackson will be fine, if its just managment, who cares, I think Jackson will not stop producing kickass guitars nor will their quality standard go to a lower level.

lets just hope jackson dosent hold the same fate as de' armond, another one of the 100's of com[panys bought my fender... which now is no longer around.

Pull your head out of your jizz clogged asshole. Kirk Hammet has one RG470 (which itself is rarely seen). The rest of his collection is comprised of many ESPs and a few Fender Strats. Neither he nor James use Ibanez on any kind of regular basis.

he only has one guitar with a DK sticker on it and if you look at the headstock it always says jackson there, so its a jackson and i beilieve its a one piece body so its not just a jackson head stock. but just beacuse you have a sig guitar doesnt meen you have to fucking play it. hell i have never seen jeff play anything but that same jackson guitar(well excepte for the years before he got it) kirk hammet has a sig esp but thats not the only thing he uses. jeff uses his jackson beacuse it lasts and its a damn good guitar(im assuming) if you had a sig guitar would you use that or the guitar you like the most? i would use the one i like the most which is probably why jeff uses his jackson even though he has an indorsment with ESP

Man if I knew that this thread was going to be like this I would have never started it. But now im here to make things strait. JEFF DOES USE JACKSONS! He still does use them, but all of hes new ones are ESP's. My proff is when I saw Slayer Live, and I was front row, RIGHT IN FRONT OF JEFF and he did use the Jacksons, but his new ones (like the one with the White and Black "CAMO") are ESP.

The slayer DVD was recorded at Warfield Stadium in December of 2001. And i am sad to say, that on the concert part of the DVD (where its the actual concert) Jeff doesn't use his jackson. BUT, just but, In the 50 minute "Fans Rule" documentary section, they show little clips of different concerts, and jeff is seen playing his jackson. AND, jeff uses his jackson in the bloodline. He uses both the Jackson AND the ESP, but i'm not sure if the censored video is that way too, but in the uncensored one, he plays both. so.

verdict, still:

Jeff still uses his jackson.

yeah in the bloodlines video he uses one guitar when hes clean and a different one when hes covered in blood. If you look carefully you can see the headstock flipping from an upwards point to a downwards point.
