my favorite Opeth album is Still Life! tells a great story, and has one of my fav opeth songs, Face of Melinda....
I am quite fond of their 70's prog rock sounds on Damnation, too. basically im a sucker for anything Opeth! great band.

I think every one of their albums is simply amazing, including 'Damnation'. I've been sitting here for the past couple of minutes trying to decide which is best but I can't make a choice. Everyone of their CD's has something that makes me like it -alot- =)

Deliverance was my first, and wreath has one of the beast riffs ever in it. Still Life though, is probably my favorite, as it prefectly blends the heavy with the dreary, Benighted and the Moor, so fucking good. Benighted is a song I could listen to a billion times and not get tired of it. Calm, cool, and neglected. Such a shame

Orchid takes a long time to get into.. atleast it did for me. It still hasn't fully grown on me. MAYH took a long time too and for a while it was my favorite, but after hearing SL I was just blown away.
