my guitar playings like going no where, and the shit ive been recording doesnt sound for shit, prolly cuz its just electric guitar playing metal by itself, gah i hate this frustration.

In a slump eh? yea ive been there, it sucks ass. what you gotta try and do is learn new chords, new arpeggios, scales, etc..it helps heaps.

Slumps suck major balls! Don't worry though, it will pass. Don't play guitar for a day or two, buy new strings, strap, and picks and pick it up. Thats what I do when im in slumps. Im not going to keep this thread open because there are lots of other threads that have suggestions in practicing and about techniques so check those out. Good luck.
