first double bass

i saw a vid from Jimmy hendrix doing a show with double bass drummer in 1970. I think that was the first big band who did it.

but who introuced it in metal? motorhead? priest?

Where did you see this at? That's pretty cool man, but I don't know who first started doing it.

You want to know who itroduced the double bass in metal? I think there's not in specific one band who introduced it. But if there is, you can't find out which band that was.
