righty right....classical glass is from Mason Williams if im not wrong....
For the classical song question i would recommend enything by Elliot Fisk (he plays some caprices of paganini he is incredible) or John Williams (pretty amazing a big master of calssic, check out "sakura" i guess is a japanesse classical song), Al dimeola has some good things too

there are some good old heads who composed good arrangements. try to get some tabs from n. paganini. I've played them in my early lessons and i've learned a lot of tricks that can be used already on an electric guitar. There are a few tab-books you can buy, which are translated for guitar players.
Same with J.S. Bach an the mandolin concerts. Try to play it on guitar. It's a good way to learn something about other kind of music, and learn a lot for your experience to play. it's not far away from playing metal

to my ear, that would sound annoying.
it was made for cello, i play it on the string bass,
and my brother played some on his viola, but on a guitar,...
that's too far, because those pieces are just scales without
the emotion of a orchestral instrument.

Yeah, cause I headbang while I do, and I can't really "Jump" (haha ) like VanHalen in a dorm room, so I just walk back and forth....haha a couple days ago I was jumping up and down on my bed, with my pants down and my roommate came in when I wasn't looking, hahaha.

my guitar teacher has played it, he says it sounds even better, but then again he has an 11 string guitar. |
