sweep problems

i've come across a small problem with sweeps lately...the natural harmonics of the notes ring out sometimes
for example if i do this:

---------17-22-17-----------------------------------
-----18-------------18-------------------------------
-19---------------------19---------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------

the harmonic on the 19th fret will keep ringing while i do the other notes(and even when insanely sped up it still sounds)
it happens on notes who have an "obvious" harmonic(the easy harmonic frets, esp 5 7 12 15 19 etc)
this could be simply a problem with my technique, but even my friend tried it on my guitar and it does the same to him(and i tried on his guitar and its fine)
any idea what could be wrong? shops are closed today so i cant call :P
right now the only solution is to palm mute the root of the sweep but it sounds silly

well if you tried it on your freinds guitar and it was fine then maybe you shoudl try and raise the action on your guitar.....well that may not do much...maybe its somthign to do with your frets

hrm thing is my action is just perfect right now(higher is just annoying for speed, tried it a while ago, and lower would buzz)

right after you play the 19, muffle the G string with your right hand right when you're plucking the B string

or, with your left middle finger fingering the B, try to make your fingertip touch the G string when you're plucking the B

try to do both, 'cause you gotta deaden the sound of that G, after you play it.
