I'm looking into getting a new guitar and I was wondering which one you all think is a better choice Cause I can play guitar I'm just not a very good guitar picking person.

thats true darko you may get a guitar that looks so fuckign sweet then you plug it in and play it and it sounds like complete shit or it may sounds good but does not feel right in your hands but just on looks id say the "v" cause i like v's more

with the selection of those 2 anyway, the iron bird. floyd rose, BDSM pickups. The ironbird looks like a better buy, but i'd recommend playing them first.

I would test it out but the only guitar places that let you play the guitars here are Samash and GuitarCenter and they don't have any of the jr V's. Ed Roman is in Vegas but they don't let you try any of their shit or else I could have tried the Jr V they have. =/

Tell GC you're interested (you are, after all). If they order it and you don't like it, you're not obligated to buy. If they won't order it, tell them to f*ck off and talk to the manager. If he says no, give 'em hell, walk out, and just buy on from the other store.

Your other option. These are both BC Riches. I would email BC Rich, or contact one of their reps and ask their opinion. You have two options. A: tell them what you want in an axe and ask for a recommendation. B: Ask for a general tonal and feel description of each. They make both of these axes, so they should have no problem with telling you the positives and negatives of each.

Definitely try playing a guitar before buying it....and i personally wouldn't even buy any guitar if i didn't play the exact guitar i'm buying beforehand.

Even though 2 guitar might be exactly alike by model number and type, there's a chance they might sound or feel different. Grain of wood in one might be slightly different than the other....so you never know.

There's a quote i read somewhere by Kerry King, and he said something along the lines of "I have 12 guitars which are all the same make and model, but to me they all sound different".

i have a feeling that the one that is more expensive is probably better, 'cause usually you always get what you pay for. it probably has more expensive hardware and pickups, which may mean it's better.


on the other hand, you don't wanna pay extra for crap you don't need. example: you seem like you want the V guitar; it has a fixed bridge, but the Ironbird has a locking tremolo.

Yeea every guitar there has a paper saying DO NOT TOUCH OR HANDLE GUITARS and I was like god damn it. and I do kinda want a Flying V more But I like Ironbirds also And I don't really need top of the line cause I'm like in the stage of like being like over beginner but before good lol.

I think both guitars are pretty ridiculous, but if i had to choose one i would choose the V.
