Drum Question???
I was wondering, I have a TAMA Artstar ES drum set that I bought from a friend a few months ago and started playing a little and stopped, but I wanted to know, should I take lessons or learn on my own? If I am to learn on my own, what do you guy's recommend I should start out doing? Could you give me liek the steps on what I should start with and then how to move up please? I don't know a ton about drums since I am a guitar person though. But thanks for anyone that can help.

i learned it myself, no problem, just start off playing easy stuff, just in 4/4, then try faster, and make breaks, in a matther of months you'll rule (well thats what i did )
good luck

i take lessons and i think they're great, at least to just get you started, the rest usually unfolds over time and practice.

Anyone know any good books I should get to learn to play drums? I decided not to take lessons and learn on my own. If anyone knows any good books then please let me know, also I need a book on double bass too, thanks.
Hail!
