budget fx
does anyone know where i can get a decent multi fx pedal without spending my life savings?
im a 15 year old with no job so its kinda like 40 quid or less.

If I'm not incorrect, £40 is about as much as $60-$70. I'd say it's just not worth it looking for a multi fx in that range. From what I've heard from others, multi fxs under $100 are pretty much crap. If you've got the time to save up for something better, I'd say a BOSS GT-6, or a BOSS ME-50, or a Korg AX1500G would be good. I only have personal experience with the first one, but I haven't heard anything bad about the others either. Check out reviews at www.harmonycentral.com for more info.

I agree. You may not want to break the bank, but seriously, if it's that cheap, you probably won't be too happy with it. I don't want to sound arrogant, but really, just save your money for something that you will be happy with.

I WAS AT A LED ZEPPELIN TRIBUTE CONCERT LAST WEEK
AND THE GUITARIST USED SOMETHING THAT I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IT IS
IT WAS A SENSOR THAT REACT TO MOVEMENT OF HIS HAND (I COULDN'T SEE
IF IT WAS PLUGGED TO HIS GUITAR) BUT IT SOUND A BIT LIKE A WHAMMY PEDAL.
THE CLOSER HIS HAND WAS OF THE SENSOR HIGHER WAS THE SOUND.
HOW DO YOU CALL THIS?

I think it sucks, it's a cheap plastic piece of multi-effect... it'll probably ruine your tone and the digitechs I played all had pretty crappy sounding effects... you might be better off just buying an analog pedal or saving up for a descent multi..
and capslockdude, I dunno what kinda effect that is, must be pretty nifty.. |

RP-50, nope. Two reasons: A) it doesn't sound that good. B) My friend had one and it didn't last too long... and the fact that it's plastic didn't even come into play.
