make sure my dad listens to this song.....Any other songs
someone can recommend me from Devourment.....
I plan on buying an album from them because I appreciate
they way keep Death Metal fuckin brutal. Just that the growling
is a bit weird.

Babykiller is pure SHIT compared to their other stuff. It's nothing like the material on Molesting The Decapitated. It sounds more like NY Death Metal than Texan. But that's just my opinion. I suppose because Mike Majewski wrote that song, and he's from New York that'd make sense. Brian Wynn wrote everything on Molesting The Decapitated.

1.3.8 is a compliation album. 1 new track (Babykiller), the 3 tracks from their "Impaled" demo, and the 8 tracks off Molesting The Decapitated. Hence "1.3.8".

Devourment aren't really grind either. They are basically the epitome of "Brutal Death Metal".

Ha ha. First off the first devourment with wayne, Brain, Brad are the shit.
Devourment with ruben on vox sucks. Ruben sucks compared to wayne. I thought everything they did with ruben sucks. Molesting the decapitated sucks ass. The only good thing about that alblum is the drumming. So its a good thing they broke up because they never had any of the original members any way and they sucked live as well.

Oh well its a matter of opinion. And my opinion is devourment is a bunch of noise. Yeah they had some decent grooves but when it came to the fast shit they didnt know what they are doing. And I know the dudes and played shows with them and yeah they do suck live. And the lyrics sounds like my 10 year old son wrote them. Even though there drummer is great and everone else in the band sucks he always screwed up at shows because he would get so nervous playing live. Oh well its a matter of opinion. Devourment sounds like someone turned on the garbage disposal and put a distortion pedal on it.

No drum machine used. Only the insane percussive patterns of Brad Fincher. I have a video of him only playing drums with Devourment. Ohio 99 Death Fest and the camera angle is only of Brad only. No other members, the entire concert is recorded showing only Brad Fincher. His brutal double handed snare grinds/rolls are insane and fit very well to the musick. nah not quite. there are some similariites between say wormed and devourment, but other than babykiller, devourment are fast crust death metal... not much reason to listne to it unless you like it just that certain way. a list of a typical devourment fan is probably more like this
