Kalmay:Cardle of Filth mixed with Iron Madian
about 4 weeks ago my friend bouth a cd at random and it was a band named Kalmay.we listen to it and it is one of the best things i have ever heard.like i said it like Cradle of Filth mixed with Iron Madian. if anyone has ever heard of them and know if they have a website or what not leave a post.

I don't see how Dani ruins CoF when it is HIS band. No Dani would mean no CoF.
The only other guy who has been there since the first album is the bassist.

I wouldn´t say that Cradle of Filth isn´t black metal... it´s just as black as Dimmu Borgir... And he does the high pitch himself by using some throat technique (check the dvd or video and you´ll see it. When he does it he bends his head down. I think he makes his throat narrow, like a water-boiling-cattle-flute (what the fuck do you call those things?!). The real low are fake yes... Live it sucks major ass....

Ugh. Don't be such idiots. No matter how much it is explained, people don't get it. It's Dani's band. It's BEEN Dani since the beginning. You may say something like Blaze ruined Iron Maiden's music (although I disagree, Blaze rules) which is fair cuz he replaced a classic member. However, how can Dani ruin the songs when he writes a lot of it, and is on every damn one?
It's not like CoF has had many different vocalists. Dani is CoF. What your saying is like someone saying "Ander's Friden ruins In Flames cuz he doesn't sing clean. If he sang clean or if they got Jocaim Cans to lead them, they would kick ass. Ander's ruins In Flames."

More CD quality

Kalmah is ok, but EToS is better. They sound alike and share a keyboardist. Though Kalmah seems more death and EToS seems more keyboard reliant.
Check ebay if you want their cds. EToS is import only but I got two of their cds new for $20.
As for my CoF rant, whenever retards decide to say their retard talk I gotta give my little speech.

LMAO!!! Everyone always finds a way to bitch about Cradle of Filth!!!!
Anyways since the topic seems to be about a KALMAH now i will let you all know i have had there new album for about 2 weeks now and it kicks major fucking ass!!!!!!
Every song on it is very well done and it is there best so far!! They even put a Ballad on the album (has no clean vocals though) And that song even rules!!!
Oh and one more thing Eternal Tears of Sorrow is no longer a band they broke up over a year ago!! (I'm pretty sure, unless they got back togeather and i never heard)
Oh and on the topic of new albums i also have had the new GRAVEWORM and CATAMENIA for about 2 weeks as well and both albums kick major ass!!!

Yeah, I know EToS has been disbanded.
They are very similar in sound (go figure).....
Kalmah seems to be more death while EToS takes more of a goth/heavy keyboard sound.
