Im sure this has been posted a million times before, but what are you guy'z approach to writting song? Ive been getting frustrated lately tryin to write.

There are lots of different ways to song writting. Such as listening to drum beats and adding guitaring etc to them; thinking up random sh** that sounds good and trying to create it; taking ideas from other bands songs and working on them or just messing around on your guitar until something good comes along.

I tend to just sit in a room with my bandmates and we all just create random sh**, see if it sounds good and work on each others ideas. It's miles easier than sitting on your own i think.

I just come up with somthing...
Sometimes I remeber it long enough to write it down, but most likely I do not

It's no proble though... I am quite good at making lyrics and ryhms, and in blackmetal, the music my band plays, it's quite short texts

Try to work somthing out on the buss on your way home from a friend or school, or in any other place or situation. It may be dificult to just sit there an decide that "now I'm fgona make a good lyric!"...

And the most important
Feel free to write anything you want..., do not sit there and think"nah...I can't write about that."
