Question Which Jackson?

I really want these two guitars by Jackson but only have enough money (around £300) for 1. They are ....

RX10D "Trans" Colours
http://www.regentguitars.co.uk/acat...Rhoads_835.html

and the

KVX10
http://www.regentguitars.co.uk/acat...King_V_838.html

Whch one do u think is the best out of the two? Or could u suggest an even better guitar for around £300?

Go for the RX10D...at least it has the double locling tremolo. The down side is that there's only 22 frets so it depends what kind of style you play. B.C. Rich NJ series Warlocks are better for the money. They come with a Floyd Rose Bridge plus they have 24 frets. The downside of those are that they're uncomfortable to play for some people standing up. If you're going to choose from the RX10D or that KVX10, you might want to invest in some new pickups...Duncan Design really suck.

Don't get a guitar with a locking trem. unless you know how to change strings with teh locking trem. or else you will spend 5 hours changing strings and may end up fucking up your action or innotation.

A locking trem is not at all that complicated. Sure, you need to know some stuff to operate it effectively, but you can find all that info on the net.

The Rhoads has a locking trem, which I find very important. However, it hasn't got 24 frets, which IMO is extremely bad. So I'd go for the King, even though I would miss the trem.

I don't find 24 frets a real need.
Depends on what stile you play, and what's the sound you want.

Also a locking trem.... is not a real need, depending on your stile. But is more necessary than 24 frets, i think...

Get the RX10D....
