Good set of strings
Now, what I need is a good set of string. Durable, flexible, thin (like 0.09 or 0.10).
And I wouldnt be willing to pay anything like 30€ from those... Any advice what should I try?

ernie balls 11-48 are my choice just go get some differnet ones and see what you like, if you downtune a lot and lower then a full step then get heaver gauges so you wont be playing noodles im not sure why it helps but it does

Yeah, so if I downtune smth like whole step or 1˝ steps, would gauges like .10 or .11 be good? I dont like very stiff strings, cos I play Bodomlike music and that shit, trash\death metal...

don't get 11's for downtuning half a step, get 11's when your down tuning atleast a step and a half. Otherwise get 10s.
I'm using Handmade DR 9s.

That depends on how tense you want your action. As a rule, for every step you tune down, go up by one guage in string size. So you'd probably want something in the range of 11s for your whole step/ 1.5 tuning... just try 'em and see what you like.

I use Dean Markley SIGNATURE SERIES. The kind in the silver packaging. They last forever, and don't hardly stretch at all, when you first put them on. Usually the only reason I have to change strings is because they start to loose their tone, from all the sweat and gunk, but then again i play about 6-12 hours a day in a garage with no air conditioning. And i only change tem about once a month, unless i'm playing a show, then usually change then about a day or two before the show. Blue steels are way overrated. I think that freezing shit that do to them makes them weaken because they always break within a week after I put them on. Same thing with DRs. Ernie Balls, fender, stretch too much, and don't stay in tune at all. Dadarrio's are alright, but they don't quite compare to the DM sig series. But they usually are cheaper.

I use .09-.42 and I tune my whole guitar down a whole step. I use 10-46's when tuning down two whole steps but that'ts the thickest i get. Not in a hurry to get arthritis. And I can't really notice a difference in tone. Some people seem to think that the thicker the string is the better the tone. Zakk Wylde uses a .60 for his low E. in most sets of 7 strings, the low B is only a .52

It's not only about tone, its also about string tension.
I've got .52's as E strings, but I tune in full D, with a normal gauge, the strings are floppy as hell.

I use D'Addario XL 0.11-0.49
I bought a pack of 3 sets for 200SEK (approx. $25, ?22)
They work fine down to C and probably below that too (for me that is).
