Does anyone here use any sort of noise suppressors or anything when playing at gigs etc. Because i've just done a gig with my band and i was getting sh*t loads of hisses and crap like that. I know its not to do with my guitar pickups, cables etc. So i'm thinking of getting a noise suppresor or somet like that. Any ideas?

but uhm, are you sure it hasn't got anything to do with your gear? a friend of mine had it too and he had bad wiring in his guitar..

nah my gears fine. I had it all checked out and stuff.

at your shows, are you being miced? if so turn the volume of your amp down, and have them turn you up on the PA. Of course when your guitar amp is louder your going to get more feedback, so just use the power of the PA there. If your not being miced, then i dunno...turn your gain/treble down until it fixed itself, and find a good place to stand where you get the least feedback.
