Question how to turn scales into solos

can anybody give me tips to do this?

just play the scale over the appropriate chord pattern.....and there....you have a simple solo

Just play around with the scale a bit. You'll find some cool sounding things to do. Then combine these cool soundign things into a long string of cool sounding things. Tada!!! A solo.

Go to www.cyberfret.com , they have a bunch of cool licks on there, and they tell what scale was used to create them, it gives you a good idea of how to create little licks and solos...

use different techniques(IE. slides, bends, hammer-ons, pulloffs, string skipping...)Just play around with it and eventually it will happen

What helps me is to play the scales at differents speed, or on differtent frets, ascending and descending.

Stay in key, always be paying attention to your rhythm and its root note. Follow it. if you are in key, everything will sound good so get fucking crazy, creative, and fast. o yes . . . it will work.
