First of all, a little comment on what guitar_demon said.
That was his question, dumbass!!

On to the question.
My personall guess would be that it's for getting "uneffected" output, like running your stereo through the amp to get more output (100w instead of what, 10w?), and you don't want your stereo (or something else, like vocals) to be affected by the distortion in the amp or its' effect circuit, so you plug it in the "slave input". This would be good for ppl like me, who play along to songs on cds and stuff.

But that's just my idea, and I don't really think I'm right...

hmm possible
i mthink i missworded it
what i meant was it just has an input which says slave

i tried putting a lead into the input of another amp and then into the slave as like an extra speaker but that didnt workill try my stereo sometime

Gurr_A: close, but not quite

Slaving an amp is when you take (for example) a Marshall head, and plug what I believe is the preamp out into the poweramp of (for example) a Dual Recto. You effectively run one through the other. The "slave" outputs that Dai is talking about may be balanced differently (ie signal strength), and there may be extra circuitry involved that would affect the sound of a slave system vs. simply running one to the other (like an fx loop).

Dai- don't worry about the slave input. It doesn't sound like you're looking at slaving amps right now, but if you do, you should run a little more research.

wrong topic, but anyways, some tuners call the notes different like, when you're tuning half a step down, the note in between is the same.

what's your tuner telling you? or better yet, what kinda tuner have you got?

if he's still not able to tune his guitar, he'll have to open up a new thread.
