why most people not like derrek?
im not a HUGE fan of sepultura, yet i do like them. i have their CD "against" and it kicks ass. but most sepultura fans are like "the bands sucked ever since max left". nobody likes the new singer(well, as of now, not "new" but...)derrek green. why? is it racial? or is it just that dedication to sepultura that makes u go "not original band members? fuckit then!"? i personally see no problem with him. i just dont get why max was the only one that was worthy of sepultura.

Hmmm..... I have only one album from Sepultura, "arise" and it's darn good. To be honest, I don't know other albums.... but i've heard they are not as good as this one

Sepultura doesnt sound like Sepultura without Max in the band. Its not only his vocals but his bad ass riffs also. They should have at least changed the name.....

Exactly. It's not a racial thing, Derrik is a good voclaist. Max is a kickass guitarist, granted he only does rythm, but nonetheless. I think the defining thing of Sepultura was the vocals. Frankly, also, I believe Sepultura sucked after Chaos A.D. Roots is good, but too tribal for my taste. After that, the band went down hill. Plain and simple--they are not as brutal as they used to be. Oh well, shit happens and life goes on...

well, i have a lot of sepultura albums, including nation and i must say i most sertanly doesn't suck, but as SandBlastedSkin said, the riffs aren't as neat as used to be, it's no the formilliar sepultura, too bad  |
