"Wally Went to Sea, Sea Sea"- thx 4 the read
Okay, I had this one in the works and just finished it so I had ta do it. Comments appreciated. Picture the kid's clapping song tune for the chorus and a jaunty little nautical jingle for the verses. I think it's pretty much self-explanitory as far as nautical terms. Not sure if the 'listing starboard' is proper but I'll use it til a on ole seadog yells about it and calls me a land-lubber. Hope you like it.

(Chorus)
Wally went to sea, sea, sea.
And all that he could sea, sea, sea.
Were the dolphins playin' in the briny blue-
Waves on the deep blue sea, sea sea.
He rolled into his berthing compartmant,
A pillow beneath his neck,
But when the ship hit rough water-
Wally fell outta his rack.
The capitan got to wonderin'
If they'd hit a submarine
Cuz the ship almost capsized.
The bump they felt quite mean.
The ship was listing starboard.
The helmsman shook his head.
He said,"If this should happen once more
We could all be dead."
Wally lost 100 pounds
And still fell on thee floor,
But the only rock and roll 'round now
Is when he pulls out his guitar.

Is miles beneath your hairy feet,
The crazies sometimes get you.
If that doesn't then it's the cold or heat.
But Wally will protect us
From any harm that comes.
He'll trade Mrweijia
For all the Iraqi guns.

I'll sing to Wally just like ole times. Heehee And I'm Wally's mom. A female in a testosterone-laden genre of music. I know it may be strange that I'm old and female and like metal, but you should hear what I'm listening to now!! "Good Rats" by the Dropkick Murphys. And this is the first time I've heard the song and it sounds just like what I 'd want this lyric to sound like --- DRUNK !!!! Holy shit !! It's PERFECT !!! I could hear the boy about 7 pm singing it !!! (Walpurgis is an early starter so he can consume more ! )
