Opeth - Damnation / moonsorrow - Kivenkantaja
I just bought the album Damnation of Opeth.
It's a quite good album, a little short though and slow in speed. But it's nice melodic album.
How you all like that album?
What about the new Moonsorrow album?
It kicks ass!!

Im sad to admit that im not to exited about the new Opeth album. I still haven't bought it but I guess ill probably still pick it up.

I got Deliverance for antiCHRISTMAS.
It was okay.. Took a while to get used to it, but I hate the song Deliverance. I find it utilizes nu-metal riffs and beats.. I hate that choppy, orchestrated rhythm. It sounds like 1 giant instrument. The jazz-like parts are pretty nice though.
I want to get Damnation, but it said on the site that it was going to be released in the states April 22..
Maybe you people live in Europe 
But I thought Opeth was doing a mellow album and an aggressive album..
I guess they changed their mind?
Or perhaps is it the theme of the lyrics that they were referring to?  |

The first song is real good to me, the solo almost is a bit bluesy. hahaha
the rest i haven't heard that much.

Its supposed to be melodic and slow
I just bought it today.. its amazing!! In my mind it is another masterpiece from Opeth
