Not exactly my cup of tea, but for what it is it's not bad actually. The first 7 lines make a good intro in a more subdued sound leading to some heavier growly stuff for the body of the piece. At least that's how I'm hearing it. It's got that eerie edge to it as blatant as it is and that's what I did like about it. I think you're right in saying it shows promise.
