How do you like your metal riffs
When making a new riff what styles do you use... for example what are your favorite fingering positions or do you like to palm mute the whole thing... Just wondering what brings joy to your ears

You know what's weird is my favorite type of musick is Black metal,
but when it comes to guitar I love to fuckin play death metal.
I like to use a lot palm mutes, speed pickin. Just playing fast is how I play.
When it comes to solos I play a lot pinch harmonics, scales, and
just run it up and down the fret board,

What Slipknot has Riffs? wtf? I saw them live on accident about a year ago and i couldnt even hear a guitar. Just double bass and Vocals. It was ridiculous cuz there was like 25 dudes on stage, 15 of them are fat, and they're jumpin around doin random dumb stuff. The fat guys kinda squatted down into a shitting position and headbanged.....i dont know what that was all about. Slipknot sucks.
