Bobbi, these are English-speaking forums, keep your Hickenese for the weekly Turnip Toss Festival. For those of you who don't understand what she said in her last post, lemme translate it for you:
gooble gobble gooble gobble
Which means:
gooble gobble gooble gobble
It's one of those phrases which only makes sense to people suffering some severe turnip poisoning. I just had a turnip smoothie, so I know exactly what the filthy harlot is talking about. The one part of the phrase which is translatable into English is "Pope's foreskin".
Gomlies, maybe if you spent less time building pixelated shrines to your new boyfriend "Dylan" in Minecraft you'd have more time to study maths

In the place where
No one knows
Where they were before
Or what they're doing where
They are now
I will be there
With my eyes
Wide
Open
I will be there
I will be there
I will be ready
To receive
THE NEW MIND
Now I am a man
Now I am a man
But I'm nothing now
And God is mine
Yeah God is mine
Yeah my sin is me
And God is mine
Now I am ready
To receive
THE NEW MIND
THE NEW MIND
This is all I could think of when I saw this guy's name. The sex in your soul will damn you to hell.
And I wish it was me, but I'm uncreative and only spam these forums under my own name, these days, when I make it here at all.

I just listened to that whole song out of curiosity. It sounded like someone vomiting on a typewriter for four straight minutes with no variation throughout. Needless to say, it was awesome.

Chris, I think you just stumbled across the perfect description for most pop music lyrics.

Easily my favorite Swans album.
PRAAAIISSEE GOD! PRRAAISSE THE LORD!
Gira is playing soon in LA doing his solo acoustic stuff. I want to go see him because he's Gira, but I really don't care for his solo shit at all.

Gomli, you're shaking guys? Does this mean you've crossed over for real and the majority sector of metaltabs has a chance with you?

I didn't drink anything for 5 days and last night played a show at USC and had some drinks. I woke up with a pretty nifty hangover this morning... gotta watch out for that when I'm not drinking consistently.

Dylan my Tekkit won't let me log in anymore since 5 days now. You know what's wrong? Is it because I updated my normal minecraft version?

What is the error message you're getting? I don't think its because of the update.

I have no idea. The Tekkit server has become extremely laggy for dobii too (you said it was getting very laggy for you too, right?) apparently and we can't figure out why so if he can't figure it out, I think we might just scrap it. If that's the case I'd be down to start a vanilla server and work our way to kill the enderdragon. Maybe by then Ian and Dame will have caved and bought it and we can start an evil server \m/.

Yeah they're playing here in LA soon. Considering forking out the cash but I'm pretty broke and still need to buy Meshuggah tickets.

If you see Gira, make sure to talk to him. I got to talk to him while he was out smoking before a Swans gig last year, and he's about as interesting a dude as you could give a blowjob too. Also, give him a blowjob. If anybody deserves it, it's him.
I know Dyldo'd be the only person to get it. He's like my soulmate. But way gayer.

Michael Gira deserves infinite blowjobs. I'd happily perform sloppy oral pleasure for a signed copy of his book.

I missed him, unfortunately. Well, kinda unfortunately. I remember you mentioning you got to chat with him because I remember thinking "I've never wanted to give him a gummer as bad as I do now". From all the interviews I've read/seen with him he does some like he'd be really interesting to have a drink with. He's another man who's work ethic and passion I really admire.
I love soul cock!

I've really wanted to get my hands on a copy of The Consumer for years but haven't seen it anywhere for under something like $80.

Ufomammut, Darkspace, Year of No Light, Alcest, YOB, SunnO))), Ihsahn, Arcturus, Shining, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth, Suffocation, Dying Fetus, Hour of Penance, Megadeth and the almighty Dropkick Murphys oh my fawking gawd and that is just to name a few.
ALSOOO Nantes has to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, a lot of the old castles and fortresses are still standing there so a trip into town is definitely worth it. I'm soo fuckin excited about it that I don't even care about the $600 the trip will cost me

People in Denver are pretty douchey. I blame it on all the Californians moving to Colorado.

Hahaha. My keyboardist went to Boulder for college. I showed him that link and he said he's never experienced bad show etiquette before in Denver, or at least nothing different from anywhere else. Maybe that's because he's from California.

Probably, I actually think Boulder is worse than Denver. Boulder is full of yuppies jogging in scientifically engineered sweatpants, and drum circles. I literally saw a drum circle walking around at 2 a.m when I was walking back from a concert in Boulder. I could smell their dreadlocks too. For what it is worth, boulder exports some good potato chips.

It sounds worth it for Suffocation, CC, Megadeth and the trip alone. I never got around to checking out Ihsahn's solo shit, but I'd probably dig it.

They can't be as good as these. Do they sell these outside of New England? I'm curious if anyone has seen these before.

I lol'd.
Is anyone else here into older 70's/80's punk? I used to be into it when I was much younger then got bored with it. Within the past few months I've started really getting back into it though. Anyone else here a fan of the old 80's hardcore scene?

Fo' sho. Dead Kennedys (probably my all-time favorite punk band), Minor Threat, Black Flag, Bad Brains are all fantastic stuff I listened to in HS and still do today.

My grandson is here for a week and he's into Billy Idol and Blondie. Do they count? Most of the bands he likes from the 80s I've never heard of but have heard a few songs. Communicating with a 13 year old boy is like being on here sometimes. lol
Getting ready for Easter service today at church. Happy Easter to all you little heatherns. XO

Husker Du. Really, a lot of the less typical SST bands (think Husker Du, Meat Puppets, The Minutemen, Sonic Youth, even Black Flag) are the shit, but Husker Du really made hardcore their bitch before fading out. Zen Arcade is fucking crazy, especially considering it's older than everybody in this thread, give or take a Bobbi.

I'll definitely have to check that out. Thanks!
I've also been listening to Reagan Youth. Unfortunately, they never did release much material, but what they did release was incredible. Fuck, the first time I heard this song I almost had a stroke. The raw energy combined with that melody is just... there are no words to describe it.

Okay, which one of you asses made me fall in front of everyone at church yesterday. Right after helping serve communion I somehow missed a step and ended up on my butt on a step. We have several nurses in the church and some of them helped me up. One said it looked like my knee twisted and I went down. Of all the days I picked to wear a dress- that was the first thing I checked was to see if it flew up- no. At least it was a longish one. Quite pretty I may add. I bruised my left wrist right above that knobby part, but there's no black and blue mark. My left knee has a little rug burn looking thing on it because I think my other knee somehow hit that. Panty hose would do that. My right leg feels like someone twisted it. Upper thigh, knee, and the outer side of my shin are all sore. I'm hobbling around like Amos McCoy (look him up). Surprisingly the butt I landed on doesn't hurt at all. Seriously, I'm thinking that all that hula-ing I've been doing for my phyique lately has tightened up my thighs, hips, and butt and I think it may have helped me not get injured worse. My mom was sitting clear in the back of the church and when she saw me fall she yelled. By the time I got back to the seat with a little help, she was sitting there with a good friend whose a nurse and was crying she was so upset. I was more worried about her than myself.
Oh, the minister told me later that nobody would even comment about his sermon because I upstaged him, and he said I can't file for workman's comp. lol His wife, whose a nurse, said he stuck his foot out and tripped me. I so wish I'd thought of that!! haha But I'd done most of my cooking the day before so hubby put the ribs and the rest of the sauce in the crock pot and finished up the potato salad to take to mom's for Easter dinner. He even did the dishes which is something my dad only did once that I know of so I think she was impressed about that. My only regret about church was that my boys, grandson, and husband hadn't been at church to see me wipe out.

Yeah Billy Idol could probably be considered protopunk I suppose. Not sure about Blondie though.

Oh yeah I forgot about them! I can't believe how old they are, and how raw their earlier music is especially for the year. I don't really listen to them casually, but they have a great classic sound.

Oh shit, I forgot Dwarves too. They're good party music. I actually just recently got into them about 3 years ago. Saw one of their CDs used for like $4 while abroad so I grabbed it. Good shit.

Just checked out some of their stuff on YouTube. They are awesome. I'll definitely be buying some of their albums in the future.
Any of you ever listen to Rikk Agnew? He was the lead guitarist for The Adolescents, but after several disagreements he left the band in 1982. He didn't release much solo material, but what he did release was really catchy.

Pol Pot killed a million of his people.
Idi Amin ate that many for dinner.
Papa Doc, his son was even cooler.
Ross the Boss was in Manowar.
Proto-punk wasn't bad, I guess.

For some reason, at first, years ago, Anthony Bourdain really annoyed me but now I love him, especially after reading his last book, and he's up there with some of my favorite food writers.
Absinthe, eh? I'd rather drink my mother's urine. I've had it (absinthe) a few times and the hallucinatory effects, if there's even enough wormwood, is highly debated. That shit does get you nice and fucked though. Nice and fucked like Puerto Rican hooker shaking for meth.

I'm playing a show tonight at a venue that has a live webcam with sound. Don't be a pussy and stream it all over your face here: www.tripsantamonica.com/live (only works in Internet Explorer). We go on at 10:45pm (Pacific time). My friend will also be doing live visuals, too. My penis will make an appearance.

I highly recommend reading his blog. He is an open pedophile.

If you're going to make a thread, why not chime us not in the know in instead of telling 90% of the forum to fuck off.

FUCK the USS Lexington. If it was made from hovercraft parts powered by Irish peat engines it wouldn't have sank.

Yeah, this is what I am wondering. Something to do with the Lexington, but it sank in June. So I'm not really sure what this is about.

Americans seem to have a long list of things that they will 'never forget'..
..perhaps they should remember when to pick their battles! HUZZAH.

Americans weren't the only ones there. Ol knows what I'm talking about. He made kickass Annihilator tabs before he joined Evile. He was wicked into those guys back then.
RIP CC1. Even though you were a barren wasteland full of assholes and douchetards, Gaylon and Kevin were the inseparable duo and BURGE was law. What are you gonna do when Slothmania runs wild on YOU?!
I also remember this troll who everyone hated. He was like 10 years older than everyone else and lived in his mom's basement. He had was very vocal and abrasive about his opinions on everything, loved to derail threads, and occasionally spammed other metal forums with lots of scat pictures (you would have liked him, Dyldo).
I'm merging this into the RTT though, it doesn't quite warrant it's own thread.

I had a dream where I tripped and fell into a pit full of black widows.
I'm surprised that I did not wake up in my own diarrhea.

Thank you Chris. I didn't realize it was just down to us 2 now. I felt it warranted it's own thread mainly because I wanted get everyone else's attention to fuck off, in a confused manner for not knowing why, other than that for a cause that is obviously greater than they are.
