Really, really, really great gloomy/depressing black metal. The only bummer is that its a short record with two of the tracks being instrumentals. I can't stop listening to it. There is pretty much zero information about them.

This is the exact kind of thing I've been into lately. If you know of any similar bands, suggest away.

Still totally recommend this, probably the best BM I've heard in a long time and even though its only 5 tracks I must have listened at least 15-20 times. Perfect production. Dirty enough to give it that low-fi grit but clear enough so everything can be heard. At first I found myself wanting the vocals to be upped a bit in the mix, but it soon became so perfectly set into the mix that it couldn't be any other way. Its harshness weaves in-and-out effortlessly.

The songs are all exceptionally written and the melodies are always pulling at your heart-strings. The ending riff on the 1st track is fucking beautiful and the 3rd track has that old-school Emperor feel of blazing epicness.

I'd visit Ireland for a full-length.
