I take it you've got the thing in tune?

go here: http://www.ibanezrules.com/tech.htm#Trem_Angle

It's meant for an Ibanez Edge, but the same rules apply to any Floyd.

I had the same problem with some of my guitars (that is why I am a fixed bridge kinda guy now). Its a balancing act to get it tuned and to keep the bridge level. So your strings are new I take it? Are you playing in a dropped tuning at all? If so heavier gauge strings will help. What I have done in the past is take the back off (when changing or sometimes when replacing strings) and shim the bridge to where it is level (a small block of wood between the part where your springs insert into the bridge and the tail section of the body, the shim will need to fit snuggly so that the bridge wont have any room to go sharp). Put your strings on, tune it. Stretch and tune a few times with the bridge shimmed, then lock everything down and remove the shim. Your bridge should stay level. Your strings are going to give a little but hopefully fine tuning will correct that. If your strings are old change them. Consider changing out your springs. Just some basic ideas that have helped me in the past. The best thing I ever did was give up on them. Peace of Mind for me.

There should only be 2 or 3 springs. Push the bar down untill thebridge is level. Then
tune the strings with your left hand. If the bridge still pulls back, loosen the springs,
about 2-3 turns. Then retune. Tighten or loosen to get it level. You probaly went from heavy to light strings. Every time you change a gauge you have to adjust the
springs.

Re: yet, another floyd rose question

Take off the back cavity cover and screw in the screws (that was redundant) to lower the bridge, or go in the opposite way to raise the bridge. Go which ever way you need to make it level with the body. Warning: if you make it too loose, the trem will fall off (obviously).
