Wow, I've never seen any kind of fungi like that before (and I know fungi!). The look of it is kind of unsettling.
I used to find these fuckers a lot in my back yard some years back and I always thought that that Muslim I buried days before was having angel lust or something. When they release spores they look especially cool. Funny thing about them, besides God's hilarious need to make random things in nature slightly resemble a phallus, is that it literally smells like dog shit and it reeks from quite a distance (hence their name, Stinkhorns). I imagine this is done to attract flies to spread spores.

I got all tuition fees paid, the personal phone number to every astronaut corps recruitment manager in the world, a large christmas card with the text "Bon Voyage (Soon!)", and a round of looks of mixed frantic hope and nervous anxiety. The orange, Brazilian gnome on my left shoulder (not the one on the right, he's just telling me to burn things, but I don't listen to it, he's not real, and I never listen to him even when he whispers at night, but that's no problem because he's not really there) keeps telling me it all probably is somehow connected to last years presents. A bicycle with a dynamite driven headlight, new clothes that I think must have been some sort of Royal Air Force uniforms and a picnic at a big nice field, and a large main battle tank with a curious u-bend in the armor penetrating shell flinging cannon. But I don't get what he's on about. Anyway, we all had a blast, as usual.

Spent the whole time moving this new years. I bought bottle of crown 90 proof, Smirnoff vodka(Pina Colada mix for my wife and a bag of ice), 60 bucks in fireworks, some food. Ended up eating a pork chop and falling asleep, without drinking a sip, or lighting a fuse.
Side note moving sucks.
Also, I need a guitar amp...
Little Gollum times are what you make of them. Sorry about your father as well, I've been in your situation as a kid and it wasn't fun. Is he dying or in the hospital for treatment to keep that from happening?

Hmmm I almost always barf (as in, "fuck it I don't feel like feeling a bit sick, I'ma puke so it's over") but NEVER, EVER had a hangover in my entire life.
Apparently I was pretty close to alcohol-poisoning or whatever you call it, since apparently I was shaking and shivering all of the time. But really don't recall drinking all that much. Anyway, never again, rest of the year it's Earl Grey tea for me (no joke). So yeah wishing everyone a happy new year.

Looks like he's going to die in the first half of the year when nothing but a wonder happens. He is actually on the heart transplantation list but he's kinda too ill to get a new heart. Whatever I know I'm nothing special with this (okay the circumstances are a little bit tragic), everyone has hard times. I'm just worried what will happen to my family after he passed away. I can deal with it I guess but my mum and especially my disabled bro. Sucks

How much did you have to pay the owner to let you stand next to his car, Reqtum? You should have forked over the extra $20 so he'd let you lean on it.
If I don't drink a lot of water and some vitamins before I go to sleep after a good night of drinking, I get really bad hangovers. Terribly bad. They'll last all day and until I wake up the day after for some reason. Even if I do I still get one, though. I think I may have puked once from a hangover. Its usually a bodily queasiness and anxiety for me.

You and your dad are still pretty young, relatively speaking. This is fairly tragic; you shouldn't really have to think about burying a parent until you're a wrinkly old bastard yourself, nevermind a teenager, so yeah you have every right to be fucked up about it. It's inspiring to see that you're preparing for the worst and are confident you'll get through it, it makes me more optimistic about my own situation with my dad. He's due to get an op which will probably kill him, but if he doesn't get the op he's dead anyway, so it's a distinct possibility that I'll be promoted to "man of the house" this year along with my little German Pokémon If I need any tips about how to pay bills or wire a plug I'll give you a call! |

Gom, Paddy, and both of your families continue to be in my prayers. I lost my dad to cancer 20 years ago, but he fought it for many years, and agreed to experimental treatment before it ultimately took him. Hope for health all you can, and if the time comes, hope for their peace and swift freedom from pain.
A friend, not even 50, was found dead in his apartment right before Christmas. He had heart trouble, but was also a heavy drinker. His kids are a mess over this. Hopefully my husband and I will be able to get to the memorial service tomorrow night. He was a very good guitarist, too.
Req', my husband wants one of those. Nice ride.

I think last we spoke was around me disappearing for awhile on the board. Me and the girl ended up cutting ties around the last time me and you spoke. I got into MMA real heavy, dropped out of the university I was attending due to some conflicts with the school it self, and was pretty much wondering around my house with bruised pride lol. I still have mine!! Well, it's Bob's, but he gave it to me. No way he'd fit in it now anyways.
I just got a BEE U TEE FUL mother's ring last night with 5 stones in it. My hubby loves me. 2 of our kids, 2 of his kids, and one we picked up for a few years along the way.

I have girly arms so they aren't filled out like a Brunhilda-man. That makes an extra large sized shirt's shoulder seams hang over my shoulders instead of at the shoulder, and makes the sleeves hang closer to my elbow.
What are these tabs you speak of? Back when I was a kid, we learned how to read real music to play guitars. x

I learned how to read music when I was a kid for piano and saxophone, I don't play guitar but sheet music and tabs for drums are basically the same thing |

Well then, in that case, just think about all the OTHER things you might not remember. Mohahahahaha.
Just finished the last show on this run. A piece about Galileo Galilei. All the way, from the first time I sat down to start writing the script I though "This is gonna be boring as hell". But as the last picture of the slide show we showed at the end, where I played a song on the piano (in which all I knew beforehand was that I had decided to switch from C minor to E major at a certain point) I could actually see a couple of people getting sniffy eyed. Is it possible to get high on good reviews?
