Sanding and Polishing
Traded out for a 86 Charvel Model 4 Guitar. It shows its age being 24 years old. I need advice on how I should go about sanding the neck. What are the best ways to sand it, what do I need to apply after sanding to protec the wood? It has a few little ruff spots on the neck, the reasoning behind me wanting to sand it down.
The body also has a few scars on it, what is the best way to buff it out? It's black.
I'm extremely new at this, never have a touched a guitar with a toothbrush better long sand paper. I'm gonna do a test run with a very old Ibanez I own with any advice given, pictures of intructions given are a plus.
