Etiquette of evil
Yet another installment in my little eternity project. This one will probably take up station after "Welcome to the city". Just another aspect on the scenario that I sorta felt had a role to play.
Good thing those stale blue lips of yours
Will not need to sternly hush
I tread lightly through your creaking doors
Out of need and out of care
And, perhaps, out of something
That meant something before
Turn a corner
The children's section
A hole in the wall
Turn a corner
The news paper section
Stand there
Recollections running with the rain
Pictures fame and all that jazz
Gluttons in a game of gain by pain
Like we had a system for it
Some set of rules with a distinct name
So we'd know how to behave
Turn a corner
An unbroken window
A group with torches below
Don't know if they're here to place the blame
On something that meant something before
Or just to search, for more lessons in their craft
Close the doors behind me
I'll find somewhere else to sleep tonight
