Anyone heard of them?
Their music is totally kickass, but I dont like the vocals a whole lot.
If not, you should if your a fan of real heavy/death/black metal;
black rose immortal
bleak (my personal favorite)
circle of tyrants
demon of the fall
What do you think of them?

combined to make, the band kataklysm (I'm not sure how to spell it).

Tristania is gothic metal.
Opeth is in no way goth. Opeth lacks a keyboardist and a female vocalist, and generally, to be a goth band, you need at least one, mostly two (The only exeption I can think of is Type O Negative, with no permanent female voice, but they always have female back ups on every album)

I don't think, in fact im almost positive that no members of kataklysm are in opeth. I have a kataklysm album and ill check it later tonight. And Opeth is not gothic, progressive metal/hints of doom in the early albums.
