Some death metal tracks TWO NEW TRACKS UP

So yeah, past couple of days I worked on some death metal tracks for a new band, and since death metal normally isn't my MO I'd be very intrested in your opinions.

I'm not so sure of the transition to the end in 3, so if you guys would just mind telling me if it's too crappy or not

Got some more tracks in the making (+- 8 now) but these aren't finished yet.

Also included are the lyrics, but these are just rough lines to give our singer something to work with/form structures

Personally I'm really proud with 3., but a bit in doubt about the transition.

Surprisingly the first one is my favourite so far. Pretty neat, nice work Jens. Classic death metal even if the last one has definately its black influences

Alright thanks a lot Gomers!

When more tracks are really finished I'll upload 'em here.

These songs will sound pretty catchy if you get all the other elements right (vocals, production).

Aaaaight thanks dude! For production, I'm thinking of going a bit Kerasphorus (cough) but clearer perhaps, and more bass in the mix but this is just a thought, that's all to be seen.

For vocals, I'm talking to one of Belgiums best in the business for now (hint for Exodus: he's from Ghent too ), I'll upload some clips from his other band if it's a yes but don't want to make an ass out of myself if it's a no-go. But trust me this dude has texture, volume, and presence in buckets.

You must be talking about Xavier / Nihil.

I've heard him sing, but not the more straightforward and brutal style... But I'm guessing he should do just fine in that area, too.

Nope! It's THIS guy and he accepted! Now just to find a drummer (and a bassplayer or guitarist, depends on what instrument I'm gonna decide on) but we have a few options ready.

Some more songs finished by the way, if there's intrested I'll upload 'em!

TWO NEW TRACKS

Would REALLY love your opinion on these guys, especially on 8, still work in progress and not too sure about it. Thoughts?

Soooo my opinion.
7 is kinda boring but there is this one kind of riff included I really love like in section 102 of the gp.file.
And now to 8.
Intro is kinda creepy, I like it. The riff right after the intro is really cool, a great live headbanger riff if you ask me but then it just turns out into this kind of madness which reminds me of some live Mayhem stuff I heard :P

Overall I`d give 7 a "D" and 8 a "B"

7 and 8 are both black metal, with very little hint of death metal. There isn't anything wrong with that, it just totally isn't death metal. I haven't listened to the rest yet. If I get around to it, I'll let you know what I think.

Rest is definately more death metal but these are black yes. Started out with death metal writing but the black-stuff is more "natural" to me. Will be putting more work into more death-tinged songs, but in any case thanks for checking them out

Aight homies

Got a line up, label-intrest but more on that later, and wrote an entire setlist. Shit is definately more fucked up black metal + death metal sound now but heck.
So yeah, attached song will be used to close the setlist. Any opinions? Especially on the slow Ulcerate-part etc?

Here's a .gp4 of it. I'm sure Wolfie doesn't mind, but if he does he can let me know and I'll take it down.
