Tubes for a B-54 AT100
Alan the guitarist of my band has a b-52 AT100, it's an eh.. Meh amp, the overdrive/distortion that comes built in is too poor for our devistating death metal so we run pedals through it.
I was wondering however if we could replace the tubes and get a much more beefy powerful sound out of it?
and even possibly make it so the default overdrive is heavy enough to not need a pedal.
i mean yeah they amp sounds good; if you're in the 1960's.
but we need DEATH out of this amp.
suggestions?
