Goddamnit, never been this ill in my entire life. Stomach, upper guts and oesophagus are all infected like hell.

So the next days I will:
NOT be able to eat ANYTHING (I puke everything back out instantly), and even when there's nothing in my stomach to puke out, my body forces me to puke about twice every five minutes, this interval hasn't changed throughout the entire day
NOT be able to sleep at all (because of an infection near my lungs or something my body doesn't breathe automatically anymore WTF so I have to do it manually (WTF), which means if I fall asleep I wake up 10 seconds later gasping for air)
Be able to do no more than lay down and sit (one step = instant dizziness and my balance is GONE. As in not there at all)
Also I'm illing; I was laying on my side, turned to lay on my back and I see this fucking HUGE beatle (about 40 cm (that is CENTIMETERS) on my knee, so I instantly yell and start punching the shit out of my knee. My right hand is bruised and my knee keeps falling asleep all day long.





Aaah good to have that off of my chest. Typign this took about an hour cause the light of my PC-screen hurts my eyes, and as said about twice every five minutes is hurl-time.

Seriously dude, please, go to a doc or the ER. It sounds like you're getting badly dehydrated and it also sounds like you might be having bronchial spasms. Been there done that myself. They can give you something for the nausea and they may do pulmonary tests for asthma if you don't know that you have it already. It will wear you out so catch it quickly.

I don't know how I feel about a rap thread, as anyone can sit down and think of some pretty funny rhymes. The improvisational mic battles are where its at and the ture talent shines.. I'm trying to think of a way we can make that happen here and a way to ensure legitness.

Anyone using windows 7 RC? It is supposed to end soon and microsoft will make your pc shut down every two hours and some bullshit until you buy it, but setting the clock back a month seems to be stopping this. just a heads up if you don't want to spend money on some bullshit.

I'd advise you to get a cracked version of the final Windows 7 release, I'm using a version which self-authenticates when you install it, no serial or online activation required. Find a version from a guy called bie, like this one:

You can probably find one with the updates from January integrated if you prefer, or just a vanilla version with no tinkering. I've been using this guy's releases for about 2 years and they haven't let me down yet.

If you plan to use it in Virtual PC or something similar you can just mount the .ISO, either using Daemon Tools or the virtual machine's built-in disc image capture (most VMs have this feature), and then install it as normal.

Whether you're installing on a virtual machine or your main system just put the disc in the drive or mount it (you'll have to burn it to disc if you want to install it on your main system) and reboot, and it should say "press any key to boot from disc" during the post boot, and when you press a key it's just a matter of waiting. If it doesn't prompt you to press any key you'll have to edit your BIOS settings to change the boot order of your devices, so that the DVD-ROM drive is first device in the sequence. I think the DVD-ROM/CD-ROM is first by default, so you shouldn't have to do anything, but if you do here's a guide for using the BIOS to change the boot sequence if you're not sure how:

If you have more than one DVD-ROM drive try using the other one first before messing with the BIOS.

I'm not sure if it's just my system, but when I install bie's operating systems they tend to take a good 5 - 10 minutes before they actually start doing anything. You might find yourself staring at a blank screen for a while before the install actually starts. I'm just letting you know in case you think something has gone wrong and decide to quit haha.

Oh yeah, don't enter a serial number during the install OR create a password for the user account you create during the install. You can add a password afterwards if you want. Not sure why, I guess it must interfere with the activation crack or something.

Has anyone been following the West Memphis Three case? I came to know about it back when I started listening to Metallica which led me to watch Paradise Lost 1 & 2, and the fuckers are still in jail despite DNA evidence exonerating them and implicating one of the victim's stepfathers. One of them is on death row for the crime (butchering 3 kids, if you didn't know) and has been for 17 years.

I've read some stuff about them actually being guilty, mainly in the Wikipedia discussion page (always good for a laugh no matter what the topic) but I haven't heard anything substantial/convincing. Anyone here know something I don't?

I've heard about the case, but can't say anything about it, except that on the outside it looks like a picture perfect example of a mess.
Though it does help support, I feel, two of my pet peewees. One, wikipedia can be trusted as far as I can be thrown by a very, very small ant with arthritis. Two, the death penalty is wrong. Look me in the eye and tell me that no innocent man or woman has ever been put to death and I'll have another addition in my dictionary of picture perfect examples. No offence intended here, but it's a constant source of confusion to me that Christians tend to be in favour of the death penalty. If you only choose to take heed of the Old Testament I can understand it, but Jesus turning up in the New Testament kinda renders the old "eye for an eye" stuff null and void, and ignoring him kinda devalues the term "Christian". Let he who is without sin, etc.

Religion aside, I don't think the state should have that kind of power over an individual. If someone kills my brother, I'll most likely want the killer dead (rightly or wrongly), but that's between me and him, not to say that I think I should have immunity if I choose to kill him myself haha. I think the state which offers clinical death in this form is expecting its subordinates to behave in way in which it does not, and I can't imagine that system ever working effectively (and it apparently doesn't).

It doesn't deter, and prison is big business in the U.S. especially, so the only real reason I can think of to execute someone is to satisfy the family or the community which were affected by the crime, in which case it's not justice but straight-up revenge/murder. If that's the reality of it, the state is engaging in a criminal act which is only marginally less barbaric than public stoning, and we all know how we feel about that when it happens in an Arab country.

If Britain hadn't abolished the death penalty prior to the late 1970s there would be 17 people that I know of myself who would have been unjustly killed: the Guilford Four & the McGuire Seven, and the Birmingham Six. The judges in all of these trials lamented the fact that they could no longer pass the death sentence. The Birmingham Six said upon their release that there were dozens of others with whom they served almost 2 decades who were also innocent but weren't getting the attention required to get the trial looked at again. The West Memphis Three is another example of an apparent miscarriage of justice with one of the three on death row.

I don't think there's such a thing as a cut and dry case, and I'm confident that any experienced cop or prosecutor would agree. How do you think I'm still free??

There's absolutely no way to completely eliminate the risk, making it a downright uncivilized behavior.

The West Memphis Three is a horrible fiasco and if you take the time to read all of the facts it really is fucking jaw-dropping.

I'm actually friends with one of the main dude's that started and organized wm3.org. Talking to him about it really, really gets me fired up because, as you can imagine, the guy is very passionate about the case and its a privledge to get to hear someone who is so knowledgeable about the case speak about it. Also, the man is in no way a metal head. EDIT: Got that wrong, he was actually involved with another site that is now gone that was also for WM3 but also was questioning where the donations to WM3 were ending up when they found out that they weren't non-profit and that they didn't keep accounting records. It turned out that most of it was going towards a fund set up for Damien and some other shit I can't remember. It was a long time ago but basically it wasn't a huge deal and the site is a legitamite place to donate.

This same guy also wrote a scrpt about the case, titled Devil's Knot, that was picked up by Charlize Theron's production company (she was going to star in it too) and Clark Peterson (co-produced Monster) but, from last I heard and what I can remember, kind of fell through after Charlize's (fuck is she hot) production company went under. This is actually how I met the dude. He's the teacher of my Mom's screenwriting workshop and when he was telling the class about everything, he mentioned in passing that he was having trouble with the soundtrack as he wanted it to be soley comprised of metal released all the way up to the year it happened, but he had little to no knowledge of metal outside of Ozzy. Dearest mother mentioned that her son (ME!!!) listened to metal and might be able to help so he ended up contacting me soon after and I was more than able to help him out with bands, music, what music to play where, and other loads of tastey information. Right now the movie's current situation is a bit messy from what I was told.. I believe the Weinsteins bought it from Clark Peterson who then gave it to a couple of guys to do some work on it. They apparently ended up fucking it up enough that Dimension, whatever role they play, hated it and told them to get fucked subsequently sending the movie into developmental hell.

I cannot understand all the bullshit surrounding the lethal injections or electrocution. I've had experience with both with animals. The lethal injection I watched my dog have was one of the hardest things I ever had to do, but it was more than humane. She just went to sleep. Another dog I had bared a wire under the porch and was wearing a choke chain. A friend tried to get her loose
and got knocked off the porch several times before he got it off her. Not a pleasant thing, but she died quickly.

Shit Dyldo, I didn't expect to find someone here who was so close to the case. I've watched the 2 Paradise Lost movies and read some material online, but I haven't read the Devil's Knot yet. I was actually thinking about a possible movie adaptation of the story the other day, but I couldn't figure out how they'd pull it off given that the case is ongoing.

The strongest evidence I've heard so far is the DNA evidence which identified a hair which was tied in the knot used to bind one of the kids as belonging to the stepfather of one of said kids, and that the DNA found at the site doesn't match any of the alleged killers. The stepfather was interviewed by the cops after this discovery, and the interview is on YouTube (Terry Hobbs is his name). Very interesting viewing.

Regardless, whether or not it's humane isn't really the point; is it right for the state to kill them at all? I could accept arguments in favour of killing people, I'm not a bleeding heart, but I don't think the state should be dishing out death in its prisons, nor do I believe it should be a democratic issue - when has the mob ever been right about anything, especially with regards to its ideas about what constitutes justice? I have the right to an attorney, and the right to not be slain by bureaucrats haha.

Repeat offenders (hmmm, my middle names) being fried doesn't really solve the problem. If they're already in custody on death row then they're not a threat anyway. Executing them after the fact undermines the premise of your argument. Likewise, the fact that they continually offend shows how ineffective the death penalty is when people decide to commit crimes in states which support it - they clearly don't give a shit. If you want the sex offenders and killers to be kept out of society, that's why we have prisons, which I'll grant you don't always work but it doesn't then follow that clinicians of death should be brought in to deal with the fallout. It's much easier, I'm sure, but that don't make it right.

I'm assuming that if you vote you'd most likely vote for someone who is pro-death penalty. I don't mean this to sound confrontational or anything, but how does that fit in with your Christian beliefs? In other words, taking a somewhat active role in assuring people will be executed for crimes which call for it versus Jesus and love and forgiveness and all that. As much as I find it irritating I have to admit that the old "what would Jesus do?" is generally a good way of assessing the situation, even for me as an atheist. When I ask that question of execution it amounts to a pretty brief debate in my head haha.

But the second album has almost NONE of the vocal style from the first one... like isn't that kinda weird? What if you heard Man In The Box with Eddie Veddar singing the lead? Wouldn't that just be akward? Even if the production and songwriting might be better on the second album, the vocals went from a cool "3-Foot Gremlin" feel to a "yell at a girl" sound.
