I get pissed off with math just for one simple fact, "The way its taught in general". They give you a problem with really no underlying application of it. They teach you about it, show you how to solve it, put it on a test, and then they leave out the part of, "Why would i need to design a problem like this? What real world situations would this take place in?". I don't know if it's like this at most American colleges, but mine is for sure. I just can't help but feel a little cheated out of my education that I pay so dearly for every semester. By the way I'm a double major in Software Engineering and Mathematics.

I've ran into a lot of vinyl stores but they rarely carry much, if any, metal so be forewarned (this is why ebay is probably your best bet, anywhere). If you ever make it over to CA, Ameoba Records and Rasputin have huge, huge, huge collections of everything.

Okay, I'm psyched as opposed to psychotic for a change. I just had lunch with both my moms, bio and adoptive, and it was a terrific experience. This is the first time they met. They get along great and I have to say I'm so thankful and blessed to have pursued this the way I did. It's just the most remarkable experience. It's really hard to put into words. I won't babble on all the details, but if anyone is an adoptee or has any questions about adoption feel free to pm me. I went through pain and confusion growing up dealing up with it and learned things to overcome that when I got older. Now that much has been resolved I've got more insight and a few more questions to explore, but anything else seems like the sky's the limit now.

I'd have been all about it if it weren't for the fact that we were deploying for a good 6-7 months shortly there after. At a point, everyone just wanted to get home, regardless of where we might've hit next. If those visits could've been part of our deployment I'd stay much longer and not care. It is easy to neglect home.. You are there all the time and it seems routine, but I tell you, it isn't as bad as it seems. Once you are deprived of that daily routine for a while, it starts to suck quickly. I was fiending for my bike. Rode that thing twice today for a while, but it started raining during the second ride so I brought it in for the night.

I got them from this hippie classmate, who just gave them to me after I mentioned that I was searching for some opium. pods are definitely a step down from that, but it was still fun.

And yea I just followed directions online, it's so easy.
1) Grind up pods in blender.
2) Add to hot water (removed from heat) for 15 minutes, stirring ocassionally.
3) Strain through a cheesecloth and drink it.

As far as obtaining the correct pods (Papaver) I'm not sure how to do this. I'm going to ask the guy that handed them over haha. I think you can get them off of eBay or something. Somebody here probably knows, though.

As long as they are papaver somniferum I don't think it should matter. All of those should contain the psychoactive substances you need to extract.

Oh and I checked and you need to make sure they are PODS i think, because that's the part that gets you high. the seeds don't do much. that is if you want to make tea, but if you are looking to grow then just buy seeds and you can get some crazy growingz shitz n' stuffz.

I watched it yesterday and thought it was pretty good. Definitely the best BM documentary out there because it didn't feel like a black metal documentary. Only a small portion of it was about the Varg/Euron killing. It was interesting as it was much more of an intimate look at the current lives of Fenriz and Varg (though with less attention), who while both representing the roots of BM also both represent the opposite sides. You came away with a lot regardless of how knowledgeable you are about the scene and its history yet it was pretty minimalistic in its presentation which added a very cool quality about it.

Harmony Korine's part was seriously gay. However the interviews with Immortal and Hellhammer were infinitely more gay because of how hilariously lame they are because of how serious they still take themselves, while the other OGs show some maturity. I was pretty bummed that Garm's appearances lasted only a brief minute and was only a comment on Christianity. I was hoping they would have some more of him in there because he's got a good voice of reason about how silly everything could be back then and is now. I'm also a fanboy. The soundtrack was pretty good, too. I spotted 4 Ulver tracks (along with a MUM and Sun O))) track)and most of the rest was electronica and BM.

The one thing that pissed me off was how proud Hellhammer was speaking of Faust for killing that random gay dude in the forest. I don't see where the connection is between the ideologies of Black Metal and the anti-gay feelings. Shit, logically it seems like they should embrace and practice homosexuality as its one of the most taboo sins among Christians. They're leaving one of the biggies out!
