So this new CD is due out on the 26th, hopfully it wont suck like COLORS. After listening to the released song on youtube this seems doubtful. It was however leaked and Im downloading now. You may or may not be able to get it here What ever happened to the metaltabs FTP is it still up?

Terrible. The self titled cd was heavier than colors, compared to circus and alaska colors is a horrible failure. Though I have found that people unfamilular with them tend to enjoy their newer stuff more than those introduced through circus.

I don't know how you could possibly enjoy their -core stuff more than Colors, but to each his own.

Anyways, I gave this album a full listen yesterday. It has a lot more of a straight tech death sound. There are few, if any breakdowns. Unfortunately alot of the epicness of Colors is gone. It seems they decided to choose technicality over good songwriting. I prefer Colors, but it is still a great album. It might take a few listens before I really get in to it though.

BTBAM can do no wrong in my eyes, each album is a progression from the last.
The great misdirect might be their most proggie to date but like I said, they can do no wrong.
