This is a poor thread, mainstream metal is such a fucking general term it could be anything from Metallica to Deicide, there pretty mainstream for a DM band. Again, this thread is shit.

Yups, the term 'mainstream' is pretty relative. I don't consider Deicide mainstream, I was thinking about stinkin park and all those crap bands.

I agree with metal=life, Licking Park and Lame Bizshit sucks big time... I don´t consider Dimmu Borgir to be mainstream...
