What bands use metalzones?
Can anyone here please name some bands for me that use the Boss Metalzone for their distortion?

yeah, steve vai only endorses EVERY single product he owns to the point where its so much endorsing your not sure if you wanna cram it up his ass, or stick 13 gauge strings in your ears.

I have heard people play perfect metallica with metalzone...But I don't belive they use it.
Am I right saying MT-2 is a pretty new pedal? If thats true, newer bands would probaly use it more than older ones.
Nirvana used the cheap DS-1, and DS-2 when it came out... They have only 1 sound, not many as the Metalzone

so really acrid is the only named band that could possibly use metalzones, i know cannibal corpse doesnt use them. The reason for this thread is, personally i think metalzones are shitty, i just wanted to see what everyones infatuation with them was. I figured maybe some DM bands actually used them, i could see maybe a few using them but not many.

I don't know about cramming it up his ass, but you're right, he does endorse a lot of stuff, some of which he doesn't even use. The major ones are the Jem and the Legacy (both of which he does use).
