well since i live in holland i can't look over them so i must give you my opinion,
i think some songs are pretty cool, but they do stupid fucking things on stage man, so fucking crappy, like c 'mon guys, clap yer hands and as you may know there is this sort of battle between Belgium and Holland and at Rock werchter(belgium) it was a nice wetter so that frontslut shouted : you know what! on halland it's raining HAHAHAHAHA

But i think i'm gonna but the DVD, its really neat, the even won an award for it

If you like female fronted bands try- Flowing Tears, The Great Kat, and Darkwell

They we´re quite ok, but then they got famous and instantly gay like Docter said. But the singer is hot yes.... but no better then After Forever ´s singer, wich also a way better dutch band...

I think the women is a great vocalist. Sure, she could hit the operatic highs, but many times she will just sing in a regular good voice (like Liv from Theatre of Tragedy does). It sounds great on songs like Ice Queen.

I saw both those bands live, and I've seen After Forever more then once, but Within Temptation just blows live

did anybody go to Ozzfest? they had green inflatable trees on stage and there where cannons with little pieces of papers blowing out

I was happy when Good 'ol slayer cheered me up after that horrible performance

AF's singer (Floor Jansen) is way better on the highs, but she sings in an operatic voice too much.

WT's singer and Liv from ToT both have "cute" voices. On some songs, they can sound like a girl between the ages of 14-18.

Personally I never really liked Within Temptation that much... I mean, they have some nice songs, but they're a bit too mellow for my taste.

LOL just kidding but a band with a good female vocalits is Seraphim, they play like Nightwish but with semi-brutal male vocales here and there!

Yes.. also if you see the members on the cd, they are a real metal band... allmost everyone with long hair and a metal look... now that the went commercial (appearing on TMF awards, wich is something like MTV, for instance) every other member than the guitar player and the singing chick are fired and got replaced by guys with nice little mohawks and stuff.... They really sold out... and yes I agree with the statement that Nightwish is better...
