Interesting Sound...
Friends and I were at a band party and someone sat on a channel changer by accident. Take any channel changer and point it at your pickups. Push different buttons to get different sounds.
Anyways hello all, thought I'd get off my lazy ass and join the boardsince I've been reading it for about 4 months now.

Yeah dude, I tried it and you can barely hear anything, but it makes liuttle beeping noises, oh yeah also, sometimes on mine you can hear people talking on a phone or like a talk show radio thing. Pretty weird huh? Hah, it barely ever does it I don't know, I am trying to find out how it does it, because it's a really old shitty amp too.

LOL try it with your fone as well put it up to ur pickups when ur amp is on and u can play ur rungtones and shit through it, also i sometimes get radio stations coming through my amp lol onr time i had the indian music one lol

Yeah I tried those, I can get it loud sometimes, but can that ever mess up your pickup's or no? I don't know why it would or how but I am just wondering.

What annoys me most about that type of effects is that I can't see how they work.
The channel changer thingies emit light (infra red light in different-frequenced pulses), right?
And pickups are magnetic, right?
They shouldn't affect eachother at all, as far as I can see. Though I'm only in my 9th year of mini-hell (aka Swedish schools). Anyone who would care to enlighten me?

Haha once my freind had a Police radio! going through his amp! and he wus there listening to it for a solid 2 hours trying to figure out what they were doing and who they were gonna get. Turns out it was a little kid next door playing with a walky talky

hey guyz check this weirdo out...
we guyz were sitting in our college jam room and as usual there was a problem with one of the amps...and to my luck, it was the amp to which i was connected 
anyway we were trying to figure something out when i just put my left hand on the other guitar (connected to the working amp) and started strumming...guess wot happened...my signals reached the other guitar's pickups through my hand placed on its strings & they got amplified in the working amp !!! believe me guyz...THIS HAPPENED !!!

yeah i get radio stations on my amp too...its pretty cool sometimes, if you know the song thats playing, you can play along! (not that its ever happened)
